Well so far so good. Minor adjustments have been made here and there but overall the boys like school. The Engineers' new favorite line, 'can I play school.' Ha, sure I reply. I don't know if he actually know he's learning plus it really does make for good quality time. I don't answer my phone. We just sit and work at the kitchen table. FYI, by work I mean a lot of schooling AND a lot of laughing. My biggest hurdle has been organization and keeping the tiny queen bee busy. Because I am an organizer freak, when I prepare-things go smoothly once we start school however, if the kids workboxes aren't prepared ahead of time then we usually start whenever I finish them in the morning. Jr.'s memorization skills could use some work but he is enthusiastic to learn which is a huge blessing, also he's becoming very good about telling me when we're going too fast-I appreciate this. The Engineer loves music/movement time but also he chooses his assignment in the order he wants. I like this because eventually he does all the work but its in his timing, after-all he's only 3 1/2. For now we are just learning our groove.
