The Adventure Begins!!!
Hello and Welcome. I wanted to start my Heritage Homeschool blog for many reasons but mostly as a way for my family and friends to connect with me and our family. This academic year I started to homeschool my 5 1/2 year old Kindergartener and my 3 1/3 year old pre-k boys. If you would like to know more about that just look on my profile. Additionally, I am mommy to a spirited sassy lil 18month old-who fills our days with glee. As this year has progressed I've been searching for what my true calling is as a mom, meaning more than just changing diapers and reading stories-in other words trying to define what my premeditated plan is for my kids and the characteristics I would like to see in them as young adults (encouraged by a book I've been reading). Long story short its taken almost 9 months before I came to the conclusion that homeschooling is one of the key ingredients, despite my fears and doubts, for what God wants for our kids, especially my oldest, and family. Now the question is, how does that play out in our daily routine?
